Under best value legislation The Royal Berkshire Fire Authority is required to measure citizens’ satisfaction
with the overall service that is delivered through the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service. This must be carried
out every three years.
This consultation was carried out by postal questionnaires to 4,000 households in Berkshire in September 2003.
