Home Fire Safety Checks

Is your home safe from fire? Do you have smoke alarms? Do you know what to do if a fire starts in your home?

Every year, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is called out to around 500 fires in the home, of which 60 result in injury or death. We can provide a FREE Home Fire Safety Check to help reduce your risk of fire. At a pre-arranged time, we will visit your home to carry out a fire safety check, give you advice on what to do if there’s a fire and help you make an escape plan. We will also fit free smoke alarms where necessary.
