The RBFRS Control Centre provides details of newsworthy incidents attended by the fire service for the media. These can be found on the 24-hour Press Line.

Access the Press Line by dialling 0118 932 2151.

There is a menu system, which enables the listener to hear details of incidents from the previous 12 hours and the seven days prior to these.

During a major incident, the details will be updated as the situation and resources permit.

Members of the media are asked not to call into the Control Centre direct as this ties up lines needed for emergency use. Please bear in mind that during an incident of even relatively small size, staff will be working at maximum capacity and may be unable to update the details until some time has elapsed.
