Important information for our suppliers
We are pleased to announce that from 01 April, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire and Rescue Service will be using the electronic (e-Tendering) system In-Tend to procure goods, works and services.

The new system is being launched across both Fire and Rescue Services as part of a procurement shared service initiative to work together to provide better and more cost effective services. The joint e-Tendering portal is one of the elements of this initiative.

  • Appliance Bay Doors
    Royal Berkshire Fire Authority is intending to let a contract for the design, supply, fit, warranty and planned maintenance and repair of approximately 80-100 sectional Appliance Bay Doors over a four year period. (Depending on on-going funding).

    Location: Within the County of Berkshire

    The Contract will be for the design, supply, fit, warranty and planned maintenance and repair of sectional overhead panel doors. The dimensions and fabric of our buildings preclude the use of alternative types of appliance bay doors.

    Value of Contract: Not to exceed 930,000 over a four year period

    Evaluation Of PQQs (Detailed in the Evaluation and Scoring Scheme)
    The PQQ submissions will be scored as follows:
    Technical & Professional Ability: 40%
    Business Continuity: 15%
    Quality Assurance: 15%
    Health and Safety: 15%
    Environmental Management: 10%
    Equal Opportunities: 5%
