On-line Recruitment Portal - Coming Soon !
We are currently testing an on-line recruitment portal which will initially be used for Wholetime
Firefighter and On-call (Retained) Firefighter recruitment. This system should make the application
process for Firefighter roles easier for you. We will not be recruiting for Wholetime
Firefighters during 2010. (See below for further information).

Firefighter Recruitment Awareness Sessions
These Recruitment Awareness Sessions are run throughout the year for people interested in a career as a Firefighter but who may know
little about what the job actually entails.
We are coming to the end of our current recruitment campaign and therefore are unable to issue any more application packs. Details of the next retained recruitment campaign are not currently known. Please keep referring to this website for future updates.
Please note to become a retained firefighter you must live or work within a maximum 1 mile or 3 minutes travel
time to the fire station.
