DESCRIPTION:Our Discover a Career as a Firefighter sessions are there to help potential applicants find out more about being a Firefighter in Berkshire.  \n\n\n\nThe sessions provide an ideal opportunity to come along to find out more about the role\, the application process and what life at a fire station is like.  \n\n\n\nIf you don’t know much about the fire and rescue service at the moment – don’t worry! These sessions have been designed to give anyone a flavour of the role – whether you’ve thought about it before or not.  \n\n\n\nAll sessions are free to attend.  \n\n\n\nStation Tour and Demonstrations: In this session\, you will have an opportunity to visit a local fire station and meet some of our Firefighters.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, 29 March 2025\, firefighters from RBFRS will be grabbing their buckets and sponges to host a charity car wash. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held at Newbury Fire Station on Hawthorn Road\, between 10:30am and 3:30pm on Saturday\, 29 March. \n\n\n\nThe suggested minimum donation is £5 per car\, with all contributions going towards The Fire Fighters Charity – a deserving cause that provides a variety of services and specialist support for fire service staff and their families.
