Royal Berkshire Fire Authority would like to extend its congratulations to Andy Fry on the announcement that he is to receive the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) honour as part of the Queen’s New Year Honours.
Andy joined Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service in 2015 as the Chief Fire Officer and Chief Executive, retiring in 2017.
With 30 years service, Andy had previously served the people of Suffolk and Essex, in addition to making a significant contribution to the fire and rescue service on a national level.
Andy receives his OBE for services to the Fire and Rescue Service.
