Our Last Four Years in Four Minutes

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) provides prevention, protection and response services across the County. Over the past four years, the team at RBFRS has worked incredibly hard on behalf of Royal Berkshire Fire Authority to deliver against the commitments made in the 2015-19 Corporate Plan. In recognition of this, a short video is available to highlight a few of the key achievements.

Chairman of Royal Berkshire Fire Authority, Councillor Colin Dudley, said: “The Service has been through a significant programme of change to deliver against our Corporate Plan. In overall terms, the programme intended to ensure that the Service delivered important outcomes for communities across Royal Berkshire, whilst balancing its budget.

“This film is just a snapshot of all the important work completed during this time, often under challenging circumstances. However, one thing has always remained the same. The team here at RBFRS have a passion, pride and commitment for providing the best quality service possible for the people of Royal Berkshire.”

As we look forward, we will continue the positive work that the Service has undertaken to provide an efficient and effective Service to our communities. The public consultation on the Fire Authority’s draft Corporate Plan and Integrated Risk Management Plan for 2019-2023 has recently closed. The responses from the consultation will be consciously considered by the Fire Authority in November 2018.
