Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) is strongly committed to playing its part in helping to protect care home residents and staff from the spread of COVID-19.
Therefore, in line with guidance provided by the National Fire Chiefs’ Council, when entering care homes in non-emergency situations, RBFRS is encouraging its staff to demonstrate their vaccination status on a COVID Pass Letter, the NHS App or the NHS Website.
RBFRS continues to maintain a risk-based approach in relation to ensuring both the fire safety of staff and residents, while assisting in preventing the transmission of COVID-19.
