Our Awards Ceremony

We recognise the efforts and achievements of our staff, volunteers, partners and members of the public with a flagship Awards Ceremony each year.

The event is a chance to formally recognise our staff for a broad range of outstanding achievements over the last 12 months. During the event, we also celebrate those that have dedicated 20, 30 or 40 years to public service with the Long Service and Good Conduct Medals, that are given under Royal Warrant, with the permission of His Majesty the King. We also present a Long Service award for non-operational staff.

This high-profile event attracts attendance and support from a number of key community leaders and Mayors from the majority of local authorities. Historically, it has been an extremely well-supported event and receives coverage from various media channels.

Every year we invite local businesses and other organisations to support our Awards Ceremony and we have sponsorship packages to suit your needs.
