At 6:48am on Monday, 29 December, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of an animal in need of rescue on Church Road in Stockcross, Newbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one deer stuck in the front grill of a car. Crews used hydraulic cutters to safely rescue the deer, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
Crews were on scene for approximately 12 minutes.
