At 5:16am on Wednesday, 28 January, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Chalgrove Close in Maidenhead.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew found one muntjac deer stuck in a metal gate. The crew used cutters to release the deer, before it safely ran back into the nearby woods.
The crew was on scene for approximately 8 minutes.
