Fire in Slough

At 1:20pm on Tuesday, 17 February, we received reports of a fire on Paxton Avenue in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Bracknell Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found one caravan on fire that had spread to a property. Two people and two dogs safely escaped the property with assistance from crews, before firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one main jet and two hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 26 minutes.
