At 1pm on Thursday, 19 February, we received reports of a fire on Blenheim Gardens in Reading.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered a chimney fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
