At 10:26pm on Saturday, 20 December, we received reports of a fire in a commercial building on Tudor Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood, and Theale Community fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one officer.
Upon arrival there was no sign of fire, and crews found that the report was a false alarm but made with good intent.
They were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
