Fire in Slough

At 8:45pm on Tuesday, 10 March, we received reports of a fire on Stafford Avenue in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Windsor, Langley, Slough and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a bedroom of the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reels to put out the fire.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 38 minutes.

One crew from Slough Fire Station later returned to the scene for a reinspection, where they used a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature of the property.
