At 6:35am on Friday, 24 October, we received reports of a fire on Mendip Close in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Slough, Langley and Windsor Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire caused by an electric fan heater. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
