At 1:19pm on Friday, 15 August, we received reports of a fire at a high rise building near Saint-Cloud Way in Maidenhead.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and crews from Maidenhead, Langley, Caversham Road and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station and one Officer. Two crews and two Officers from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were also sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found incense burning in one of the flats. There was no sign of fire, and crews found that the report was a false alarm but made with good intent.
They were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
