Fire in Slough

At 9:09am on Tuesday, 4 November, we received reports of a fire in a flat on High Street in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and crews from Langley, Maidenhead, and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside two Officers. One crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was also sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a cooker hood. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 25 minutes.
