At 3:30pm on Friday, 17 October, we received reports of a fire on Admirals Court in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the kitchen of a flat. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using as ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property and make the scene safe. Crews gave immediate emergency care to one person and determined that no ambulance was required.
They were on scene for approximately 33 minutes.
