Fire in the Open in Ascot

At 12:17pm on Sunday, 22 June, we received reports of a fire in the open near Church Lane in Ascot.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the 4×4 vehicle from Mortimer Fire Station, two Officers, and one crew from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the open in a field. Two extended hose reels and beaters were used to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately two hours and 51 minutes.
