At 5:29pm on Thursday, 26 March, we received reports of a fire in the open on Drift Road in Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell and Ascot fire and rescue services were sent to the scene, alongside the Zetros Water Carrier from Bracknell Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire involving a storage unit containing scaffolding poles and metal containers. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and dampen down the area.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and three minutes.
