At 11:01am on Wednesday, 27 August, we received reports of a fire in the open near Hill Farm Lane in Binfield.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an off-road vehicle from Maidenhead Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a large field fire. Firefighters surrounded the fire to prevent it from spreading before extinguishing it.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 45 minutes.
