At 11:45am on Wednesday, 16 July, we received reports of a fire in the open on the M4 Westbound between Junction 10 in Winnersh and Junction 11 in Three Mile Cross.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Water Carrier from Bracknell Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the open. Firefighters used hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 26 minutes.
