At 4:51pm on Monday, 26 January, we received reports of a fire near Eversley Road in Arborfield.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Whitley Wood, Wokingham Road and Crowthorne fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Zetros water carrier from Bracknell Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found one container full of timber on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and the Zetros to put out the fire and make the scene safe. Crews handed the scene over to the site owner, with advice to continue monitoring the scene.
They were on scene for approximately three hours and 27 minutes.
