At 1:38pm on Sunday, 29 March, we received reports of a fire on Tickleback Row in Warfield, Bracknell.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead, Wokingham Road, Slough and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station, the Operational Support Unit from Whitley Wood Fire Station and three Officers.
Upon arrival, crews found the roof of a bungalow on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reel jets and three main jets to put out the fire and dampen down the area.
They were on scene for approximately six hours and 47 minutes.
One crew from Bracknell Fire Station returned to the scene the following morning for a reinspection, where they used one hose reel to dampen down hotspots.
