At 5:09pm Thursday, 11 September, we received reports of a fire on Dauntless Road in Burghfield Common.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Mortimer, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and an Aerial Ladder Platform.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a two-storey terraced house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used three hose reels and a main jet to extinguish the fire. Crews then ventilated smoke from the property using a fan. Firefighters also provided immediate emergency care to one person at the scene.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
