At 11:27am on Friday, 26 September, we received reports of a fire on College Avenue in Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene. One crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was also sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a tumble dryer fire inside the property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before naturally ventilating the property to make the scene safe. Immediate emergency care was given to one person.
They were on scene for approximately 42 minutes.
