At 8:19pm on Monday, 26 January, we received reports of a fire on Cordwallis Road in Maidenhead.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead Fire Station and one crew from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, the crew found a fire in the living room of the property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. Crews gave immediate emergency care to one person, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 22 minutes.
