Fire in Maidenhead

At 2:35pm on Friday, 6 March, we received reports of a fire on Windsor Road in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property caused by an oil-filled radiator. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. Two people were placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and 28 minutes.
