At 10:34am on Thursday, 2 October, we received reports of a fire on Island Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one shipping container on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one main jet to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 38 minutes.
