At 7:25pm on Friday, 17 October, we received reports of a fire on Whiteknights Road in Earley, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood, Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station and two Officers.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a kitchen. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used three main jets to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and 31 minutes.
