At 9:16am on Friday, 31 October, we received reports of a fire on Wensley Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood, Theale and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a boiler room. Firefighters used two CO2 extinguishers to put out the fire, before ventilating the smoke from the property.
They were on scene for approximately 56 minutes.
