At 6:29pm on Wednesday, 19 November, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Gainsborough Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Theale and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a hedge on fire that had spread to a van and the rear of the property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 37 minutes.
