At 2:25pm on Friday, 20 March, we received reports of a fire on Grovelands Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one washing machine that was on fire was out on arrival. Crews removed the machine from the property and made the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
