Fire in Slough

At 7:42pm on Tuesday, 16 September, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a domestic property fire on Hurworth Avenue in Slough.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station and two crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside two Officers.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a first floor bedroom. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the fire and make the scene safe, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 36 minutes.
