Fire in Stoke Poges

At 5:47pm on Thursday, 10 July, we received reports of a fire on Elizabeth Way in Stoke Poges.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station and an Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station. Two Officers and several crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were also sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire involving several vehicles, outbuildings and a semi-detached house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two main jets, four hose reels and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately four hours and 10 minutes before returning the following morning to reinspect for hotspots.
