At 2:31pm on Monday, 5 January, we received reports of a fire on Hermitage Road in Thatcham.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one industrial cardboard compactor on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and one main jet to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 31 minutes.
