Fire in Windsor

At 5:40pm on Tuesday, 30 December, we received reports of a fire on Victor Road in Windsor.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a bedroom. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. Crews gave immediate emergency care to three people before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and 38 minutes.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Windsor Fire Station later returned to the scene for a reinspection. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and found no further signs of fire.

They were on scene for approximately 46 minutes.
