At 10:20pm on Wednesday, 23 July, we received reports of a fire on Bedfordshire Way in Wokingham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Wokingham Road, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station and two Officers.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire involving an e-scooter on the first floor of the property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.
They were on scene for approximately three hours and 37 minutes.
One crew from Wokingham Fire Station later returned to the scene for a reinspection of the property.
