At 7:55am on Wednesday, 16 July, we received reports of a fire on Crockhamwell Road in Woodley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the living room of the property. Six firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one covering jet to put out the fire.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 47 minutes.
One crew from Wokingham Fire Station later returned to the scene for a reinspection.
