At 6:31pm on Thursday, 30 October, we received reports of a fire on Douglas Lane in Wraysbury.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a scrapheap fire had spread to a chicken coop and a dog kennel. All chickens and dogs were accounted for. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and dampen down the area.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 37 minutes.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station returned to the scene the following morning for a reinspection, where they dampened down hotspots.
