Roof Fire in Maidenhead

At 10:32am on Tuesday, 10 February, we received reports of a fire on Hardwick Close in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station, two Officers, and one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a roof on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one main jet and two hose reel jets to put out the fire, before using a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots and ensure the scene was safe.

They were on scene for approximately two hours and 45 minutes.
