Flooding in Bracknell

At 3:10am on Friday, 28 November, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of internal flooding on London Road in Binfield, Bracknell.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a burst water main on London Road that was affecting a hotel and 12 nearby residential properties. Crews used a light portable pump and equipment from the Environment Agency to drain domestic property gardens, divert the water flow, and support the public’s safety. The scene was handed over to South East Water and Bracknell Forest Council.

They were on scene for approximately four hours and six minutes.
