At 2:40pm on Saturday, 15 November, we received reports of internal flooding on Elgar Road in Reading.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew found a water leak on a first floor property was affecting properties on the first and ground floors. The crew isolated the water and electrics within the property, before installing a working smoke alarm.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 21 minutes.
