At 12:19pm on Sunday, 4 January, we received reports of a fire on Lyndhurst Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer and one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in an outbuilding in the garden of the property, with the fire affecting a fence and the exterior of a neighbouring house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 43 minutes.
