At 5:24pm on Sunday, 20 July, we received reports of a fire in a highrise building on Kings Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found that a chip pan fire was out on arrival. Crews gave immediate emergency care to two people, before safely placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately 47 minutes.
