At 11:29am on Sunday, 24 August, we received reports of a fire on Admirals Court in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Theale and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a kitchen on the first floor. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to put out the fire and make the scene safe, before using a ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.
They were on scene for approximately 29 minutes.
