At 1:35pm on Monday, 22 September, we received reports of a fire on Warwick Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Theale and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a first floor kitchen. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. Firefighters also gave immediate emergency care to two people.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 37 minutes.
