At 9:31pm on Tuesday, 31 March, we received reports of a fire on Donnington Gardens in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a small oven fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 32 minutes.
